Hello, I'm Jason, a UX designer based in Houston. My strengths are in ethnographic research, usability testing, wireframes, prototyping, storyboarding, ideation, and making excessively spicy Asian dishes.

I spent ten years working with anthropologists and researchers as a team videographer, recording and editing stories like how to be a working mother in Mumbai, coffee shop culture in Shanghai, using public health insurance programs in Bogor, Indonesia, interviewing gamblers in Macao, being one paycheck from homelessness in L.A., and how to stay warm and safe from bears while backpacking overnight in Yosemite. This served as a long exposure to generative methods which, now as a UX Designer, deeply informs my passion for building digital products for humans.

I'm always searching for team collaborations, partners, leaders, notetakers, sources of inspiration, and listening minds. Please give a shout if you're into UX Design, gearing up to travel the world working as a videographer, or if you just want to network a bit!
